About

About the Lancer Finance Society

A student-run finance organization at Pasadena City College bridging ambitious community college students into competitive finance careers.

Lancer Finance Society (LFS) helps students prepare for careers in Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Private Equity, and beyond. Members join an Equity Research Internship Program where cohorts of analysts pitch a stock and publish professional-grade research that they can show to recruiters. We also offer SSMIF, a mock portfolio program that teaches allocation decisions, risk, and performance tracking.

LFS is built for community college students who are ready to take the next step toward a four-year university or a competitive finance internship. No prior experience is required. We provide resume reviews, mock interviews, technical interview preparation, guest speakers and panels, and a growing network of alumni, industry partners, and peers.

The society is founded in 2026 and run entirely by students: an executive board sets direction while teams in research, media, events, and business affairs carry out the work. Meet the people behind it on our Leadership page, explore published work on the Research Showcase, or get in touch.
